I couldn't resist the opportunity to connect with you again. I miss seeing you each day and teaching with you. Blogging seems to be such a great way to communicate with people and it is so easy! I started to work on the 23 things and got stuck on Flickr. It is amazing all the things you can do on that sight. Hopefully, I'll find something I can use with my teaching instead of me just playing! :)
I haven't had enough time to play because I am blocked from these sites at school and I haven't been home in the evenings. I think all of this is fascinating and I can't wait to play some more.
OK, I haven't even started working on the 23 lessons but I'm finally getting my blog page set up. Yikes, I need more time in the day. I did however just submit my presentation project and it feels so good to have it finished.
The mappr application on flickr looks like it could be a lot of fun especiallly for my geography lessons. Too bad I couldn't get the photos on route 66 to open up. Our main street is Route 66 and the kids would love to see it diplayed in this format. I'll have to keep trying. It also would have been a great way to enhance my presentation project. My PowerPoint is about Kansas.
I appreciate you visiting my site and look forward to reading your comments and ideas. I teach fourth grade math, language arts and social studies so anything that would enhance my teaching in these subjects would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day!
I do find it interesting. Now, off to continue my homework! Good luck with yours!
